Latest: Rising death tolls in Gaza and Lebanon as Israel intensifies airstrikes.

The conflict has intensified, with the Israeli military conducting deadly strikes in central Gaza’s Nuseirat refugee camp, killing 20 Palestinians and injuring dozens. Further escalating the crisis, al-Awda Hospital, where victims sought refuge, was also bombed. In northern Lebanon, rare attacks have occurred, including a strike on an apartment that left 14 dead and 15 injured. Gaza’s Kamal Adwan Hospital, the last operational facility in the besieged area, faced artillery fire and drone attacks, worsening an already dire healthcare crisis.

The toll of Israel's actions in Gaza has been catastrophic, with at least 43,603 Palestinians killed and over 102,929 wounded since the conflict's escalation on October 7, 2023. On that same day, Hamas-led attacks killed 1,139 people in Israel and resulted in over 200 captives. Meanwhile, in Lebanon, Israeli attacks have resulted in 3,189 deaths and 14,078 injuries since the conflict's onset. The scale of devastation across Gaza and Lebanon highlights the humanitarian crisis and the urgent need for global attention.
